Hannah Toresdahl

Program and Marketing Coordinator

Hannah Toresdahl joined the SPPG team as a Program and Marketing Coordinator in 2022.

Hannah grew up in West Des Moines. She attended Earlham College studying women, gender, and sexuality and studio art. While Hannah attended Earlham, she played for the Quakers on the women’s golf team for four years. Hannah’s studies provided her the opportunity to study in Amman, Jordan. During her time in Jordan, she found an interest in learning more about non-profits working to uplift youth and empower them to be future leaders.

Hannah moved back to the Des Moines metro looking for an opportunity to be more involved in the community where she grew up. She served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with a local nonprofit working to level the playing field for immigrant and refugee youth. Her passion for being involved in the community complemented her marketing and communications experience, while reaching a variety of audiences.  When Hannah is not in the office you can find her testing new recipes in the kitchen or finding the next sewing project she can share with her family.

Hannah appreciates the opportunities at SPPG to share her creative talents in a group setting where team contributions make a significant impact on the work SPPG provides in the community.

More About Hannah

Moments I cherish:
  • Playing games with my family

Dream vacation:
  • My dream vacation would be sipping Turkish coffee on a beach in southern Jordan overlooking the Red Sea’s gulf of Aqaba.

When I was 6, I wanted to be:
  • A veterinarian, prompted by trying to fix my teddy bears when they were “injured."
