Nicole Hill
Administrative and Program Assistant
You have to get up pretty early in the morning to get ahead of Nicole Hill. Actually, that’s not just an old saying - in Nicole’s case, it is so true. She begins her day about three hours before she opens the office door at SPPG. Up at 4:30 am, she travels to the site where she is an instructor and coach of an extreme bodyshaping and fitness class. She is the Des Moines version of Billy Blanks, in her kickboxing class. After her children are off to school, she becomes the “voice and first face” at SPPG.
Nicole is a consummate professional, highly active and energetic as a lab trial mouse injected with a pseudoephedrine. She began swimming at an early age. While attending Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa, she was on the swim team, specializing in that ridiculously difficult butterfly. She returned to Des Moines to enroll at Des Moines Area Community College.
Hill spent nine years working in the insurance industry in positions ranging from claims adjusting to negotiations with account executives. She left the industry to join SPPG.
“I really like to figure things out and needed more of a challenge. Working at SPPG with its approach to issues and problems gives me a chance to experience so many different facets of work and truly fulfills me intellectually.”
So when our guests visit the SPPG office or talk with Nicole on the phone, sure they are talking to a person who knows what’s going on with the projects, but that diminutive mother of two children with a smile on her face and in her voice, just might be able to kick their butt.
