Facilitation and Training
A good facilitation results in a group-based decision. SPPG uses specific procedures to guide discussions, ensuring wide and honest participation. We’re known for consensus building: helping diverse groups reach concrete outcomes to which everyone can agree. “But my group’s contentious” or “My issue is controversial,” you might be thinking. Bring it on. We welcome a challenge because we have no vested interests in the outcomes—just the development of good public policy and business practices.
Whether it’s a one-day retreat, rescuing existing groups from chaos, or forming and managing a group through a long and arduous process, SPPG can take it on and ultimately help you sleep at night. You might be surprised to know we have facilitated hundreds of groups and task forces on projects as varied as you can imagine.
We see training as an empowerment activity. SPPG conducts trainings for audiences on your topic. We develop training curricula, deliver the training, or both. We usually make people laugh a lot, too. Teaching people to do for themselves what they couldn’t do before is another way we support good government and business.
