1984 & On

In 1984, Tom Slater created State Public Policy Group as a policy consulting business. The core SPPG mission is to address issues of social responsibility. Throughout the years, SPPG has worked in many cities and towns, states, and foreign countries in the private, non-profit, and public sectors. More than 100 individuals have been a part of the company as employees. And over the past 15 years, SPPG’s success and growth is reflected in the strengthening and diversification of management and program staff that has expanded expertise and relationships. But as the company changes and grows, the current leadership and staff continue to work from these basic tenets.
