Mallory Riesberg

OST Enrichment Coach

Mallory Riesberg’s got high hopes. She fully intends to the change the world someday. But she’s already done a lot to make an impact here in Central Iowa. Before joining SPPG as an Out-of-School Time Enrichment Coach, Mallory changed the lives of hundreds of youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa.

Over the past several years she created and implemented some fun and effective programs and even managed to snag a national award for one of them while earning her Master’s in Public Administration. She’s looking to make an even greater impact through helping nonprofits create their own impacts. Nonprofit management has become her passion. If you find that hard to believe, you don’t know Mallory!

She is a transplant to Iowa, but we’ll keep her. Mallory was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri (the real city, not the knock-off version in Kansas). A true Missouri sports fan in her heart, she can be found cheering on her Chiefs, Royals, and Tigers throughout the year. M-I-Z…

After graduating number one in her high school class, she made the move to Des Moines to attend Drake University. While pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, she met her future husband and decided that Des Moines was an all-right place to settle down after all.

Mallory hopes to one day achieve her goal of making the world a better place, so she will continue to work with youth and inspire them to be the best versions of themselves they can be. She enjoys the small things in life – like seat-dancing to hit songs in the car, searching for celebrities in airports, playing with her French Bulldog Bombur, lounging on the couch watching Netflix, or even tackling the occasional triathlon.

Ever guided toward a better world by her spirit animal, the purple elephant, Mallory tries to live up to the Kid President motto: “Be Bold. Be Kind. Be Awesome.”
